"RMA was actually smoother than I expected"
My msi laptop’s screen started flickering out of nowhere, which was annoying because of course it had to happen when I needed it most. I figured the warranty repair would turn into a whole mess, but the RMA process was surprisingly easy. Support got back to me quickly, the instructions were clear, and I had the laptop back in about two weeks. It’s working fine now, so I can’t really complain too much. Bit of a hassle that it happened in the first place, but the repair went way better than I expected
"Compatibility Was a Letdown"
I bought an MSI motherboard because my RAM was listed as compatible, but it still wouldn’t boot no matter what I tried. I spent way too much time waiting around for support responses, only to have them basically blame me instead of helping. Frustrating experience overall.

"Really bad packaging for such an expensive item"
I got my MSI order, the box looked like it had been kicked around the whole way here. There was barely any padding inside, barely any at all, so the product was just sliding around in the shipping box. For something this expensive, I really expected much better protection. It did turn on, luckily, but I’m still not feeling great about it long term. Just really poor packing from msi.com, really poor.

"Easy and pleasant to use"
I had a smooth experience using MSI.com. It was easy to find product pages, drivers, and support info without feeling lost or having to click around forever. The menu felt clear for the most part, which made the whole process a lot more enjoyable.
The only thing I noticed is that a few pages felt a little crowded and loaded somewhat slowly for me. Even so, I was happy overall because I found exactly what I needed, and the site left me with a positive impression.
"Kind of a Miss for Me"
I picked up an MSI laptop thinking it would be a solid buy, but it’s been more miss than hit. The build quality doesn’t feel great at all. The plastic around the screen feels flimsy, and it even makes these little creaking noises when I open it. The hinges aren’t very smooth either, which just adds to the cheap feeling. It also looked way nicer in the photos than it does in person. The port placement is kind of awkward, the keyboard flexes while typing, and overall it feels like the whole thing was rushed. For what I paid, I expected a lot better. I don’t think I’d buy from msi.com again.

"Login Was Way More Annoying Than Expected!!"
Signing up for an account worked in the end, but logging in was a pain. It kept failing, and the verification codes showed up late, which made the whole process way more frustrating than it needed to be!!

I had some issue with my laptop warranty, that whole thing, and expected it to be a hassle. MSI support got back to me faster than I figured they would, told me what to send over, and didn’t make it complicated. Happy with how it all turned out

"Checkout was kinda smooth"
Ordering on msi.com was easy overall. My cart and payment went through without any problems, and the confirmation showed up quickly. The only thing I noticed was that a couple of pages loaded kinda slow for me. Still, the checkout experience was good overall.

"Got it working, but the setup was a bit frustrating"
Setting up the msi stuff was okay overall, but it was more annoying than I expected. I had to spend a little while just trying to find the right downloads, which was frustrating. A few of the steps weren’t super clear, and the installer felt painfully slow at times. I did get everything working in the end, so I’m relieved about that, but I really wish the whole process had been smoother.
"Rebate came through, but the process was a little annoying"
The promo worked and I did get my rebate fast, so that part was fine. But i kept having to check the status, and that got kind of annoying. The promo itself was easy enough, but the waiting and checking, checking again, and wondering if it actually went through was a bit of a hassle. Still, the rebate did show up in the end

"Pretty easy upgrade, just a little tight :)"
I opened up my MSI laptop to add more RAM and swap in a bigger SSD, and it wasn’t too bad at all. The screws came out without a fight, and the RAM/SSD slots were easy to spot once I got inside. The only annoying part was the back cover, it felt a bit tight, and I was definitely nervous I was going to snap one of the little clips! :o Overall though, the access was way better than a lot of other laptops I’ve worked on. Giving it 4 stars because it could be a little easier, but still a solid experience.

"Decent products, but I should’ve shopped around first"
I’ve bought from MSI the products themselves are fine. My issue is more with the pricing. Some items felt a little overpriced, and after checking other sites, I found the exact same products for less. I guess that’s partly on me for not comparing prices before buying, but I still expected MSI to be a bit more competitive. Checkout and shipping were smooth enough, so no big complaints there — just not always the best value for the money.

"Pretty accurate, but could’ve been clearer"
The specs ended up matching for the most part, which I appreciated, but some of the details were a little vague and left me second-guessing things. It wasn’t a huge issue, but I do wish the information had been explained more clearly. I felt relieved that it was mostly right in the end, but still a bit frustrated getting there

"Good hardware, frustrating software and support"
The MSI hardware itself has been solid, so I don’t really have complaints there. But the software side has been a headache. Dragon Center/MSI Center keeps acting up, and driver updates don’t always install properly. I’ve had to reinstall things a few times just to get basic features working again. Their website also isn’t the easiest to figure out, which makes troubleshooting more annoying than it needs to be. For what I paid, I expected better. I’m also hesitant to deal with customer service because it never feels like you’re going to get a clear or helpful answer. Not the worst experience overall, but definitely more frustrating than it should be.

"My order status updates showed up later than..."
My order status updates showed up later than I would’ve liked, which made the whole thing a bit frustrating. Customer service did reply and the response was okay, but I don’t fully trust support to stay on top of things, so the delayed updates didn’t help.

"manuals are mostly clear"
i used msi.com to look up the manual for my motherboard. it was easy to find, and most of the steps made sense. i do wish a few of the BIOS sections had simpler examples, but overall it still helped me get everything set up without much trouble.

"A brand I usually feel good trusting"
I’ve known msi for years, so when I’m looking at PC parts or gaming-related stuff, they’re one of the brands I naturally feel comfortable checking out. Their site looks legit, and for what I usually need, it’s simple enough to find my way around.
I wouldn’t say I blindly trust any brand for every single product, but in this space, msi has a reputation that makes me feel a lot less hesitant. I haven’t had any reason to doubt them so far, so for gaming or PC gear, they feel like a safe choice to me...

"Tracking was kind of a mess"
The tracking was all over the place, honestly. It kept showing updates that didn’t seem right, and then the delivery date changed without any warning. The package did show up, just later than it originally said, so... yeah, not the worst thing ever, but annoying to deal with.

"Heads up: my order arrived missing an item"
Just a warning for anyone ordering from MSI: my package showed up on time, but one of the items was missing from the box. Getting help from support took longer than I expected, and it was frustrating having to explain and prove that something wasn’t included. It eventually turned into more hassle than it should’ve been, so definitely check your box right away if you order from them

"My order showed up really fast"
So... I ordered from msi.com and wasn’t expecting it to arrive as quickly as it did.
I got the shipping email not long after checking out, and the package was already at my door in about 2 days. The tracking was simple to follow too, with no weird delays or issues.
Everything was packed well and showed up in good shape. Overall, I’m happy with how fast they got it sent out
